Larger IT companies that offer CMMC compliance consulting are generally targeting organizations that need to meet the highly complex Level 2 or 3 requirements. As a result, they have high overhead costs and small businesses end up paying for more than they need. You will notice that the demographic we serve is very specific – very small businesses that do not have IT professionals on staff. I am a passionate believer in the importance of small businesses and their importance in the DoD community. I do not want small businesses to be burdened financially by the CMMC requirement or to become ineligible for DoD contracts due to the complexity of figuring it out yourself.
